Zapier

Zapier can connect CharityStack activity to other apps through automation workflows. CharityStack uses Zapier webhook URLs for this connection.

When To Use This

Use Zapier when your organization needs a lightweight automation that is not covered by a native integration.

Admin Notes

Setup Checklist

  1. Create the Zap in Zapier and copy the webhook URL.
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  3. Open Zapier.
  4. Paste the webhook URL.
  5. Save and test the webhook.
  6. Confirm the receiving app handles the fields the way your team expects.

Testing

Zapier testing sends an example payload to the selected webhook URL. Use the test result in CharityStack and the task history in Zapier to confirm the receiving Zap is active and mapped correctly.

Admins can choose the test payload type before sending the test:

If a test fails, confirm the URL starts with https://hooks.zapier.com/, the Zap is turned on, and the receiving app accepts the fields in the test payload.
